Benefits for support roles

San Antonio ISD has raised its minimum hourly wage over the last six years through its Living Wage Initiative, most recently increasing the starting pay rate to $16 per hour. Additionally, the district has created a job progression matrix for many of its supporting roles. This provides staff with opportunities for advancement based on increased experience and skills development within the same role, allowing the district to retain talented employees.

The district provides regular training opportunities for employees, ranging from safety training to an annual clerical conference, to support the continued growth and development of all staff.
