Recruitment & Staffing

This department recruits high-quality, talented individuals and supports them throughout the hiring and onboarding process to join the SAISD community. It also works closely with hiring managers across the district to support them in their organizational development as well as in developing strategies to recruit and retain the talent needed to meet district goals.

Employee Services & Relations

This department is responsible for the case management of all employees’ concerns and inquiries related to their employment as well as districtwide employee recognition programs and employee training related to skills development and compliance. It also provides guidance and support for employee misconduct, grievance administration, and conflict resolution.

Employee Benefits, Risk Management & Safety

This department supports the overall health and wellbeing of district employees through benefits administration, retirement planning, and wellness programming. It also ensures the safety and security of employees as well as district property through risk management and safety in addition to managing workers’ compensation, unemployment claims, and leave administration.

This department ensures organizational effectiveness through the development, implementation, and refinement of strong systems and strategies across the Human Capital Management division. This includes the management of cross-functional systems for employee data and records, position management control, job descriptions, and compensation administration and initiatives.
